Wildcraft® branded products are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the product. This carry-in warranty applies when the product is used under normal conditions and for the purpose in which the product was designed.
Each product covered under Warranty carries a Warranty card with a specific Warranty coverage depending on the material and type of product. Wildcraft® and Wiki® branded products are covered by the Wildcraft® carry-in warranty.
- Wildcraft® Warranty covers all manufacturing defects on zippers, runners, buckles & stitching issues caused by workmanship errors.
- Warranty does not cover natural wear & tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse or negligence) and damage caused by acts of god such as floods, fires or earthquakes.
- Clothing is not covered by the Wildcraft® Warranty.
When submitting a warranty claim, we need you to present your Purchase Invoice / Warranty Card as proof of purchase. The Wildcraft® Warranty is applicable only within the Indian subcontinent.
What does “Carry-in” mean?
To avail the Wildcraft® Warranty, we request customers to physically bring the product and proof of purchase (invoice) to their nearest Wildcraft® store. See a list of Authorised Service centres.
What if I’m not near an Authorised Service Centre?
In case there are no Authorised Service Points near you, you will need to bear the shipping charges to send your product to the Warranty Department at Wildcraft® Head Office.Wildcraft® will absorb the return shipping charges using physical post.
How long is the Warranty valid on my product?
Different products carry different warranties. Please refer to the individual product pages on this website or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a specific product’s warranty.
As general guidance, most Wildcraft® Polyester material gear have an 18-month warranty. The Wildcraft® Nylon gear has a 5 year warranty. The Wildcraft® Robic material gear enjoys a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Wildcraft® Footwear is covered for 3 months from date of purchase.
What does "Limited Lifetime" mean?
We build our products to last over extended periods of use, but well used gear always goes through wear and tear. Fabric may deteriorate and colours may fade over time. Limited Lifetime means we will cover your product under our warranty policy until we are convinced that it is worn beyond reasonable repair.
If the product is showing signs of heavier-than-regular use – for example if the material is thin or faded, there are multiple tears or fraying edges, the zippers have stopped working, cuffs are fraying, or soles are well worn—we will take this into consideration when considering your product for a warranty request.
We would suggest referring to our Product Care section for more information on how to wash and store your products in order to make them last as long as possible.
Will my product by Wildcraft® be repaired or replaced?
If your warranted product fails due to a manufacturing defect in material or workmanship, our first option will be to repair the item, free of charge. If the product is not repairable, or if the cost of repair is higher than the cost of a new one, we may, at our discretion, choose to replace the product.
How long does the repair process take?
Please allow 15 working days for Service completion, from the date of submitting your product at aWildcraft® Service Centre. Minor repairs are often done at the Service Centre itself, but major repairs are sent back to the Head Office in Bangalore, therefore extending the time taken to return them to you. For an update on the repair status of your product please contact email@example.com with your Repair Estimate Slip reference and your registered mobile number.
How to submit your product for repair or replacement:
- Submit a dusted & cleaned product.
- Ensure all repair related issues are mentioned in the Repair Estimate Slip given by the store staff.
- Present the Repair Estimate Slip at the time of collection.
- Wildcraft® will not be held responsible for products not collected within 30 days from the estimated Date of Delivery mentioned on the Repair Estimate Slip.
- Contact the store where you dropped the product for any information related to the repair.
My Warranty is expired. Can I still get my gear repaired?
Out of warranty claim repairs are possible for an additional charge. The charge depends on the extent of repair and the time taken for it. Please take your product into the nearest Authorised Service Centre for a repair estimate to be raised by the store manager
Why does my product need to be cleaned before repair?
For easier handling as well as for the protection of our repair staff, we request that all products be cleaned before being given to us. Products that arrive unwashed may be subject to a cleaning fee before assessments can be made.
Is the Warranty applicable for a product I bought online?
Yes, the Wildcraft® Warranty is applicable on any of our original branded products bought through any point of sale including trade outlets, our own retail stores or at any online partner. Please send us a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase in order for the Warranty to be availed.
